I had posted a ton of camping pictures on the Picasa web site, but I didn't know if you had seen them or not, there is a link here to look at them. 

The day started with rain again and the 10 day shows all rain....yeah, I'm pretty much over it.  Andrew thinks that we should all come after Davis' baseball practice Friday night. So, we will have a late night, but maybe that will mean less traffic. 

Doctor appt. this afternoon here in Veneta, then off to baseball practice for Davis and someone FINALLY contacted us about Benson's baseball.  So, he gets officially signed up today.  Whew.

HAPPY EASTER


Hope everyone had a nice Easter.  We only pray 3 times a year, obviously not divout Christians, or anything else in particular.  We told the kids the story of why Christians celebrate Easter.  Benson said the prayer at dinner, "Dear God, we know you are a legend, and we will always remember you".  He always amazes me.

Here is the dresser.  Davis changed his mind from Lime green color to Forest Green.  Wouldn't have been my choice, but he likes it and it didn't turn out too bad.

This is my latest attempt of a quilting project.  Obviously nothing matched up very well.  It's like a table centerpiece, but I didn't match up well at all.  With that said, I still think it's super cute material and wont look too bad when it's all finished.

This is the quilt I finished for Jenna's baby girl.  I zig-zagged the shorter edges and quilted on my machine the white squares.  Turned out cute.

This is a picture of the boat show last weekend, you can see the snow gathered on the seats.  It was a horrible day for a boat show.

The new baby blanket I'm working on for Jenna

I made this little hot pad.  It turned out so cute, but I can't figure out how to put the rimmed edge on it. 

This was the 1st fishing trip of the season.  Still a few piles of snow left on the ground.

This was weird, I caught a clam shell.  I actually fished it out from the bottom of the lake.  Weird.



Our trip started with a trail walk in Howard and we came across this "sleeping" raccoon.  Turns out he was dead.




We tried this river first, the Peshtigo.  We saw an otter swimming around.  That was fun to watch, but no fish.  The kids went "chipmunk chasing".  They actually found a nest and chased two baby chipmunks around.  They got wet and muddy, but had a good time.

I got started on this new baby blanket.  It is turning out pretty cute, probablly finish it up tomorrow if I get to Walmart to get some more batting.  Walmart...ugh! 

Gas went up today to $3.75

Weather is going up in degrees....supposed to be in the 60's by next week!  We sure go from frozen to hot in a few weeks time frame.

Well you guys have already seen these pics online, but thought I would re-post on the blog too.  Big garage sale prep. under way here.  Take no clutter with us!  It was a beautiful day today in De Pere, sunny and almost 50 outside.  The kids are in tank tops and shorts...yes I know, it's still too cold for that, but they
