We decided to go for a drive this afternoon after we went shopping for awhile. We drove out of town about 5 miles and were deep into farm and county land. Some of the pictures dont do the justice of how pretty it was.

On the way home we stopped at DQ for ice-cream. Can you imagine, -3 and we wanted ice-cream.Was so cold, you can see the streaks of ice on the windshield.

A stop at the small Shopko by our house. Lots of sales...I bought a shirt.

Here are some far off pics of the mansions in Ledgeview. I'm sure your house (mom) would fit right in with these.

I stepped out of the car to take a picture of the sunset and Andrew and the kids thought it was so hilarious to keep driving away from me.

This is the house Andrew said we could afford. I don't think so!

The roads were solid sheens of ice out here in the country. We didnt pass a single car, so it wasnt scary.

You can see in this field how the ice and wind has formed a small area of frozen ice right ontop of the snow. It was like this in all the fields. Very strange looking.

Just a pretty sunset.

The kids were bored out of their minds, kept asking when they could go home. So we just kept driving further and further away from home. It bothers me when they would rather play their video games than enjoy the beauty of the day and look out at the scenery. Oh well, guess they are kids. Andrew and the kids are home today with me, the teachers are preparing report cards and Andrew took a special day off to spend at home. His work guys have called 3 times already. He is pacing. Oh well, he is here.
